Please log in to reply. But in terms of a lower priced, reliable force feedback solution, the force 3D delivers a solid, if not incredible, experience.
Posted 09 Ligitech – Posted 16 April – The buttons have a very nice placement in terms of clickability, and you’ll rarely find yourself accidentally mashing the wrong button, thanks to the angled shape of the joystick’s main buttons. Posted 22 October – First off, the WingMan Force 3D features an interface incredibly familiar to the SideWinder Force Feedback Pro, only with two buttons on the base instead of the SideWinder’s four, and, and an extra button on the actual joystick.

The Wingmn WingMan Force won a lot of praise for its incredible cable-driven force feedback system, and for good reason. So I confirm there is a reason to worry, but I have no answer. Posted 21 October – About the driver yeah that is similar to my old MS-FF2, which also has drivers that does not work into the modern 64bit OS, but still it is working, it does not need the rorce.
Notice that in late posts users claim to have found a way to make Wingman Force 3d work with Windows 8, but it was not straighforward. Back to top 26 Dutch2 Dutch2 Posts: Windows does show it as a Wingman Force in the “unspecified device” category in the Control Panel “Devices and Printers” applet, but gives roll-over status messages of “Driver unavailable” and “driver error”. You’ll definitely enjoy the smaller size of the joystick, and the buttons sans the main trigger feel great — but if you’re looking for a definitive force feedback experience, you’re not going to get it here.

Could you please share your experience here or by pm. I tried some tip I found on the web and installed an old version of Logitech profiler software that was supposed to be able to make it work on Win7, but it couldn’t detect the stick either.
The smooth push and pull of the joystick lohitech much more natural and realistic than the chunkier and not to mention louder reactions of the Microsoft SideWinder Force Feedback Pro. One plus, however — the joystick is a good deal quieter than the SideWinder. Several functions may not work.
